CFR CREDIT CLOSE: Chunky Deals Boost Sept; ’25 First To $1.3bn Ex 2020
Starting last Thursday (09/18), the IG arena has seen a steady stream of $4.50bn+ trades. Two more were added today with the Lowe’s $5bn 5-part and Enel’s $4.5bn 4-part contributing $9.5bn to today’s $16.275bn (11 deals) total.
All told, chunky deals over the last 4 sessions have added $29bn to September 2025’s total. The only deals in September 2025 higher than the recent $5bn top were Merck’s $6bn 6-part and Citi’s $6.5bn 3-pt.
