The Gabonese Republic, rated Caa1 (Stable) by Moody's and B- (Stable) by Fitch, has mandated Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan and Standard Chartered Bank as Joint Lead Managers to organise a series of fixed income investor meetings commencing on Monday 15 November 2021. Lazard is acting in its capacity as Financial Advisor to the Gabonese Republic. J.P. Morgan is also acting as the Development Finance Structuring Agent for the Gabonese Republic. Subject to market conditions, a Rule 144A/Reg S senior unsecured USD benchmark offering of long 10-year weighted average life will follow ("New Notes Offering"). FCA/ICMA Stabilisation.
In addition, the Gabonese Republic has announced a tender invitation to eligible holders in respect of its outstanding US$ 1.5 billion 6.375% Amortising Notes due 2024 (ISIN: XS1003557870/ US362420AB78) (Priority 1) and its outstanding US$ 700 million 6.950% Notes due 2025 (ISIN: XS1245960684/US362420AC51) (Priority 2) for cash up to a Maximum Acceptance Amount of US$ 750,000,000 (the “Tender Offer”). The Expiration Deadline has been set on Tuesday 16 November 2021
