Metlen Energy & Metals SA (MYTIL), a leading global energy and industrial company, rated BB+ (Stable) by S&P and BB+ (Stable) by Fitch, has mandated BNP/Citi/HSBC as Joint Global Coordinators to arrange a series of fixed income investor calls starting on Monday, October 7th. A fixed rate EUR500m (exp.), Reg S 5-year Green senior unsecured Bond offering is expected to follow, subject to market conditions. New issue proceeds will be used for the redemption of the existing EUR500m aggregate principal amount of 2.5% Notes issued by Mytilineos Financial Partners S.A. and due 2024 (the “2024 Notes”) (callable at 100). An amount equivalent to the net proceeds will be used to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, Eligible Green Projects in accordance with the Company’s Green Finance Framework. A pre-recorded Investor Presentation with voice-over and a stand-alone preliminary Offering Memorandum will be made available on NetRoadshow.
In connection with the above, the Company has concurrently delivered to holders of the 2024 Notes (ISIN: XS2010038144) a conditional notice of redemption in respect of all the outstanding 2024 Notes.
